Looking back over the twelve and a half year old success story of the BFS Betonfertigteilesysteme GmbH and Casagrande Group partner- ship, there is good reason to celebrate. The company is today very successful, even if the BFS GmbH corporate history is not very long. The story begins in 1980 with a company in Blaubeuren called Baumgärnter, which was purchased twelve and a half years ago by the Casagrande Group from Italy. This gave rise to a fruitful cooperation between the producers of spun poles and pressure pipes from Italy and the experts with systems for manufacturing high-class precast concrete components from Southern Germany. The success is quantifiable. “BFS, as a motor of innovation and leader in technology, has in the last few years succeeded in establishing its machines on the international market and in quadrupling its market share”, pointed out Daniel Bühler, a managing director at BFS, with satisfaction.
