The Belgian region of Limburg is the central concrete block manufacturing region in Belgium. About 80% of the concrete goods produced in Belgium originate from this area. The Windmolders Beton NV concrete plant is also located here. The company from Herk-de-Stad is one of the most important concrete block producers in Belgium and offers its concrete goods in numerous variations of colour and shape. As in many other countries, aged concrete blocks are hugely popular in Belgium. In order to be able to meet this demand, the company sought a new solution that would allow even aging in high lot numbers. Windmolders found what they were looking for at the Dutch supplier Rota Cage bv from Budel, whose aging system of the same name, Rota Cage, corresponded to Windmolders’ desires.
