The present article focuses on a technology that combines the advantages of fine grained aggregates with the process of vibration. The use of conventional raw materials (sand, cement, plasticizer, pigments) and standard equipment (concrete mixer, vibrating table) permits the manufacture of decorative concrete products coming close to the outer appearance and physical and mechanical characteristics of natural marble. Generally speaking, decorative facing concrete refers to concrete containing white cements, pigments and, on occasion, also special aggregates such as marble chippings coming along in various colorations.
