Design mesh plant with increased flexibility

Schlatter Industries AG, a company that has been very successful in the field of resistance welding for 100 years, has made its highly flexible MG230 Superflex design mesh plant system even more flexible. Following extensive market research lasting an entire year, the specification sheet for this highly complex system was written together with the German customer. The initial situation was and is the market needs, which are developing more and more towards just-in-time production and minimum lot sizes. The market share of single-axis design meshes in particular was declining sharply, which provided even more impetus to the project to create a real Superflex. Even the classic design meshes no longer meet market requirements in many areas and are losing more and more ground to genuine project-specific meshes in minimum lot sizes.
