A great deal of dust, including fine quartz dust depending on the material, is set free during the working of concrete caststone. Many employees are exposed to this dust on account of the low level of automation. In this industry in particular, therefore, dust reduction measures are on the one hand absolutely necessary; on the other, however, they can be implemented only with difficulty in some cases. The following article identifies problems in dust prevention and indicates solutions for the avoidance of dust immissions.
