Celsa Steel Service Oy in Åminnefors, Finland, a subsidiary company of the Celsa Group, is active in the local market as a reliable supplier for reinforcing steel for the construction branch. A common initiative of the management of Celsa and some of its customers has made it possible for Celsa to examine the possibilities for offering not only reinforcing steel but also added value. The experiences gathered from the production of rolled reinforcement meshes resulted in a broadening of horizons and initial attempts at the production of reinforcing cages for driven piles.
