Rheological characteristics of HPC containingcomposite cementitious materials

Fresh concrete properties

Rheology is the science of flow and deformation of matter and is used to describe workability of concrete. The incorporation of supplementary cementitious composite replacements greatly influences the rheological properties of concrete. Rheology of concrete is one of the most important fresh concrete properties. Pulverized fuel ash and silica fume were incorporated as partial cement replacements for the preparation of various combinations of blended systems. Rheological properties such as plastic viscosity and yield stress using, the two-point test are reported.
