Cable loop connection system for precast components

Philipp GmbH, 63741 Aschaffenburg, Germany

Wire rope makes sense in precast component sub-assembly construction. Right from its inception, this has been highlighted by its use as a lifting device, for example, as a cable loop with threading, cast-in lifting loops or corner loops. This type of transport or assembly system is only employed temporarily within the transport chain. Utilising wire rope as a permanent, integrated solution (e.g. as a connection device between construction components) was entirely new territory at the beginning of the nineties. The situation today shows clearly that this system has become fully established on the market.
