With 1.7 million inhabitants, Brisbane is the third-largest city in Australia, but it has the highest rate of population growth. The city, which is referred to affectionately by its citizens as ‘Brissy’, stands out due to its sub-tropical flair and attitude towards life, as well as its picturesque setting on the Brisbane River.
