Self Compacting Concrete Technology (SCC) has given rise to a great competitive advantage for the Prainsa-Alvisa Group; however its massive and day-to-day use needs a responsible and logical implementation process. In this article the Prainsa-Alvisa Group and its organization will be introduced, as well as the description of the process followed to implement SCC technology in all factories of the Group. The main factors that must be considered to tackle the process and the main difficulties encountered when transferring this new expertise through different cultures and countries will be detailed, to such purpose comparisons between Spain, France and Chile will be shown.
