DS Dichtungstechnik GmbH and Münster technical college (Germany) have cooperated in investigating influences on assembly forces with built-in sealing of nominal diameters DN 300 to DN 1200. The objective of the investigations was to be able to answer more factually the frequent questions from companies and engineers working with the product. At the same time, previous specifications were to be reviewed and fresh reference values made available for planners, pipe manufacturers and construction companies.
