Fabud WKB S.A., one of the largest manufacturers of steel reinforced precast concrete elements in Poland, has expanded its range of products by prestressed hollow-core slabs. As part of a contract between Elematic OY AB of Finland and Fabud, a production plant for prestressed concrete slabs with an annual production capacity of more than 100,000 m2 was put into operation in May 2008. At the same time, Bureau Veritas from Madrid carried out an audit, as a result of which Fabud were issued with the requisite certificate of the work’s own production control for system 2+ of the certificate of conformity according to PN-EN 1168, which entitles the company to attach the CE mark to its products.
