Energy is a valuable resource. Amongst other things, this has been made patently clear by high crude oil and fuel prices. Energy must also be utilised as efficiently as possible in order to permanently reduce CO2 emissions, which occur during the combustion of fossile fuels or resources. In this context, the question must be posed as to what kind of contribution can be made by a residual concrete recycling plant in ready-mix concrete or precast production facilities.
