Forecasting what might happen in the next 40 years is a risky business, especially in times of huge changes in climate, society and technology. With the proviso that this is a purely personal view into the future for CPI readers, this is how some aspects of the precast industry might look in 2050 – it almost certainly seriously understates the degree of change ahead. It is written as if it appears in a 2050 edition of CPI.
