Design and calculationof sandwich elements

Facade structures of steel-reinforced prefabricated concrete elements are often manufactured as three layers. These sandwich elements consist of a thin reinforced concrete slab on the outside (facing layer), a heat insulating layer and a thicker, inner reinforced concrete layer (load-bearing layer). The sandwich anchor system from Philipp GmbH can be used in order to connect these two reinforced concrete layers. The system consists of the support anchor (sleeve anchor and/or flat anchor), a torsion anchor (flat anchor) and the tie anchors (composite needle, hoop or attachment hoop).
