In July 2004 the company Al Shafar Contracting decided to establish its own prefabricated component plant, Hard Precast Building Systems. Mr. Emad Azmy Gendi and Mr. Bashar Abou-Mayaleh (General Manager) undertook comprehensive analyses and site visits on the European prefabricated component market, in order to find an experienced and reliable partner for this project. The introduction of advanced prefabricated component production technology was intended to modernise and optimise prefabricated concrete component production in the United Arab Emirates.
