Concrete Jobsite Plant for the French Pentagon

The French Ministry of Defense wanted to centralize its sites and services and build a huge center to host 9,300 military and civil employees from 15 existing sites spread all over Paris. This has become known in France as the "projet Balard" or the "French Pentagon". In total, about 320,000 m2 of office space, conference rooms, restaurants, kindergarden, a swimming pool etc. will be realized in this building project. Construction began in January 2012 and will most probably be finished in August 2014.
