An artistic finish to a building usingtextured concrete

An architectural genius was what was needed to make the purely functional structure of a water treatment plant in St Paterne, France, appear like something special. An Attica strip with a concrete texture forming a pattern of palm branches was placed around the whole building. It gave the building a less bulky appearance and provided a link to the surrounding countryside.
