When the mechanical engineering graduate Dipl.-Ing. Hermann Weckenmann and his younger brother Dipl.-Betriebswirt Wolfgang Weckenmann took over the management of their father’s family-owned company in 1989 at not yet 30 years of age, they had no idea that their company would belong a little over two decades later to the world market leaders in precast plant manufacturing.
