Sealing of construction joints in site-mixed concrete and prefabricated construction elements is a time consuming and expensive procedure. To devise a means of doing this more quickly and economi-cally, even when under water pressure and with-out abandoning safety considerations, was the overriding goal of a search for a solution that has led to the use of new materials and working tech- niques. B.T. innovation of Magdeburg is introduc-ing another flexible sealing tape, SynkoFlex, which makes it possible to improve quality and efficiency in concrete construction. At the same time the company is presenting the new MultiForm system, which can be retrofitted with MagFly magnets in the field.
