Nowadays precast concrete element manufacturers must continually modernise their production processes and adapt the machine technology to the latest state of the art for the increasing competition for customers. The topics of automation, optimised processes and workplace ergonomics are important trends here. The French building contractor Rector Lesage is no exception: it recently modernised its precast concrete plants in Courcelles-sur-Seine and Weyersheim within the framework of a retrofit project. The result: higher production figures as well as considerably more efficient, but also more ergonomic work procedures.
