Efficient production of foundation piles using a slipformer

Deep foundations are required when erecting buildings on substrates with a low load-bearing capacity. The building loads are not transmitted directly into the substrate, but dissipated deeper into the earth via piles. Nowadays precast concrete piles are mostly used. These are usually cast in moulds. Echo Precast Engineering has developed a method with which foundation piles can be manufactured without moulds using a slipformer on a production bed familiar from the manufacturing of prestressed hollow-core slabs.
