Concrete Show South America prepares to stir civil construction in the second semester

Event focusing on solutions for building and infrastructure works should help boost the Civil Construction market in 2014

The GDP of the civil construction sector should present greater growth than the national levels in 2014. The Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry (CBIC) estimates growth between 3% and 4% in 2014, while the Brazilian economy should record an expansion of only 2.5%. The scenario should be consolidated mainly by the concessions in infrastructure works as well as the continuity of the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program and major opportunities in the real estate sector. This positive scenario is the venue of Concrete Show South America 2014, the Latin America’s main event in solutions for building and infrastructure works, which will be held on August 27-29, at the Imigrantes Exhibition Center in São Paulo. With a potential to mobilize over 150 segments of the civil construction industry and bring together more than 30,000 professionals from 36 countries, the event this year will present the latest trends in technologies and solutions for airport, rail, road, residential and industrial works. It will include an exhibition area of over 65,000m² and 600 vendors, in addition to onsite demonstrations of machinery and building systems.
