The 21st international convention of the Weimar Institute of Applied Construction Research and the 19th pipe construction congress sched- uled for 12 and 13 November 2014 in Weimar will focus on the transfer of know how and the exchange of new developments in research. For the first time, these two events will be organized under a common header, "IAB-Wissenschaftstage". A highly competent team of speak- ers from industry, business, and science will present latest developments and call on interdisciplinary approaches with special reference to practical implications.
