The family-owned company Röser, now managed by the second generation of the family, has been manufacturing an extensive range of precast concrete elements for underground construction for 55 years. In addition to cisterns and numerous special elements, Röser mainly produces a substantial range of manholes and pipes at its location in Obersontheim in South Germany. For this purpose two pipe machines, two manhole ring machines and two machines for the manufacture of compensation rings are available in the factory buildings. Two autonomously working mixing plants supply the entire production facility with earth-moist concrete. For the pipe range Röser manufactures the necessary reinforcement cages on two machines. One of the two long-serving cage makers was replaced in autumn 2011 by a new cage welding machine from the mechanical engineering company Progress. The new machine type VTA 160/3 W12 is used for the production of cylindrical reinforcement cages with and without a socket.
