Concrete is known for having bad thermal properties, so for residential projects, insulation materials have to be fixed to the concrete then covered by finishing board like plaster board. As a result of this, the construction time and cost increases. To reduce the time, precast sandwich panels were introduced to the market. This paper is about using the benefits of both lightweight aggregate and self consolidating concrete to produce sandwich panels and reduce the cost and manufacturing time. Shear and flexural tests have been conducted to check the performance of this method.
