According to a current study by an independent economic expert, there are approximately 1,600 medium-sized German businesses that are global market leaders in their industry. 21 companies in Saxony are classified as “Hidden Champions”. These so-called hidden champions are businesses with manageable workforces that have developed a leadership position in niche markets and are usually only known in certain segments of an industry.
