J. Meyer GmbH is primarily concerned with the quarrying and processing of raw materials (sand and clay). The company has a sand quarry, two clay pits and soil tips near Bayreuth. Managing partner Jochen Meyer worked for over 20 years in management positions in the con- crete industry. During this period he amassed extensive knowledge of concrete technology, process technology, product development, etc. Since 2013 Jochen Meyer has also been acting as a consultant in Germany, Poland and South Africa, assisting companies with problems related to their production.
