Self-cleaning drainage channels made of steel reinforced concrete

Structural elements in the bases of channels and gravity lines have proven to be effective in counteracting the sedimentation of solids in wastewater. Within the scope of a research project, scientists at the IAB Weimar gGmbH succeeded in integrating such elements in DN 300 slot channels made of steel reinforced concrete for zones with heavy (D400) to very heavy loads (F900).
