Column connections for a challenging project in Mexico

Smurfit Kappa, one of the world’s leading providers of paper-based packaging solutions, built its new paper mill in Mexico using Peikko’s column shoes. Jose Antonio Ramírez Wiella, Project Manager of Smurfit Kappa México, says the company chose Peikko’s products for the Molino de los Reyes paper mill because of Peikko’s experience in supplying concrete components to paper and pulp mill projects around the world. Peikko Spain’s delivery to the paper mill project consisted of approximately 700 units of big column shoes and their corresponding short bolts.
