The viaduct Colombia is considered as the longest in Colombia and the third in Latin America. It guarantees the regional connection between the different productive sectors of the country as well as it facilitates the increase of urban and touristic development. The work is part of the 4G Cartagena Barranquilla and Circunvalar de la Prosperidad Project and was executed under the responsibility of the Coastal Concession, a company formed by the firms Mario Huertas Cotes, construction company MECO, construction company Colpatria and Castro Tcherassi.
