Eltersberg updates its concrete block line with a new block-making machine

Basalt- und Betonwerk Eltersberg GmbH & Co. KG with its headquarters in Buseck is a purely owner-operated, medium-sized family business. Concrete products manufactured in-house for road, civil engineering and garden construction work make up the core of its delivery programme. High-class basalt aggregates for manufacturing concrete and civil engineering are produced and marketed from its affiliated Eltersberg quarry. An assortment of merchandise composed of natural stone articles and concrete products rounds off their range on offer. Investments have been made repeatedly in the state of Hesse, Germany, for more than 50 years now in order to be able to offer its population up-to-date quality products and the company’s employees secure working places. One of their last investments was to update the concrete block line. In this case, the core component, the concrete block-making machine, was exchanged for a high performance 860-4 single pallet machine from Zenith. After this, Zenith also replaced the pallet destacking machine on the wet side and the pallet stacking machine on the dry side in the circulation system.
