Thanks to the constant demographic and economic increase of the province of Córdoba in recent years several road infrastructure works have been programmed to strengthen and accompany this development. The road construction project Variante Costa Azul is one of them, with a total length of 6.7 km of road and 1.2 km of connection with Provincial Route E-55, where both sections are they develop in an area with mountainous topographic features, while the connection with provincial route E-55 presents a more undulating topography. However, the work on the bridge over Lake San Roque is a key element, thanks to which light and cargo vehicles will be able to travel along the new road, thus avoiding entering the city of Carlos Paz or the route E55, saving a lot of time and without generating traffic congestion in the city. At the same time, it allows to reach more directly the numerous tourist places from the center of Córdoba.
