3D textile reinforced concrete façade elements only3 cm thick

V. Fraas Solutions in Textile have developed an innovative new product in textile reinforcing for concrete façade slabs and built it into Hering Bau architectural concrete façades. These 3D textile reinforced betoShell®BIG façade slabs from Hering Bau with a built-in SITgrid® from V. Fraas have been employed for the first time in the façade of a new construction at Dresden University of Technology. In this project, 530 façade elements measuring up to 1.30 x 2.00 m and with a thickness of only 3 cm were assembled to create 1,070 m2 of façade.
