An unusual location for a concrete mixing plant can currently be marvelled at in Switzerland. A Liebherr concrete mixing plant of the type Easymix 1.0 stands at a height of 1,440 m above seal level on the Rigi mountain, directly adjacent to the rack and pinion railway. The reason for producing concrete at this great height is the construction of a mineral spa on the Rigi mountain. This particularly attractive location offers a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne. Since the building site is not accessible to concrete mixer trucks, the concrete must be produced on site on the mountain.
