For over a year now, we have been witnessing a worldwide economic crisis. As a result, there has been a degree of uncertainty unknown before in almost all industries that has led to an incomparable postponement of planned investments. This is also true for the construction industry and its suppliers. Planned projects remain in their engineering phase without any reliable indication when, if ever, they will proceed to their ultimate stage of execution. This has consequences for the entire supply chain of the industry, starting from the initial suppliers of tiers and ending with those suppliers that develop and produce the machinery and equipment employed for manufacturing subassemblies used for construction, e.g., reinforced concrete pillars.
