Fabian Kohlbecker became the new CEO of the Rampf Group on 1 October 2018. The 47-year-old, who now directs the destinies of the internationally active mold manufacturer, can already point to years of experience in the building supplies industry.
Kohlbecker studied civil engineering at the Technical University in Darmstadt. This was followed by industrial engineering studies at the Ruhr University Bochum. At the beginning of his professional career, he worked as a site manager at a mid-sized construction company and then moved to a consulting firm specialising in restructuring for several years. Beginning in 2005, he supported very diverse functions for one of the leading construction suppliers in its segment. Here, his responsibilities included expansion of the Russian subsidiary, the business dealings of the subsidiary in Spain and, most recently, group strategy. In addition to his professional commitment, he has also been active as a visiting lecturer at the Biberach University of Applied Science since 2012.
Kohlbecker was appointed CEO of the Rampf Group in October 2018. One of his goals is to restore continuity in the company after the numerous changes in management in recent years. He also wishes to reflect on what made Rampf strong in the past. “The latest technologies combined with decades of experience in manufacturing molds” according to Kohlbecker. He sees intensive collaboration with the customers as one of the key factors in this. “We wish to collaborate closely with our customers in order to understand their requirements and develop the right products for them. Our goal is to be our customers’ partner and thus the best choice for molds.”
