The Chinese Baoye Group has invested in a further precast plant in Quzhou, 800 km southwest of Shanghai. In the future Baoye will produce up to 700,000 m2 of double walls and precast slabs with in-situ topping annually for mega residential construction projects. The company is thereby relying on the latest technologies of the concrete plant specialist Vollert, the topics hotly discussed in China regarding resource efficiency and environmental protection as well as precast element architecture as a sustainable building system.
