Recent years have seen an increase in the use of slim-floor precast slab systems; these are floors with a low structural height and large spans. These systems are composed of semi or fully prefabricated beams made of steel and steel reinforced concrete, for example also with Pfeifer Hybridbeam ® composite beams integrated in the floor level, as well as prestressed hollow core slab elements supported on these beams.
