The business activities of Weiss Srl, an Italian company, go back to the 1950’s with sales of machines and plant made by leading German mechanical engineering firms for manufacturing precast concrete components. In the year 2000, Weiss started building up its own plant manufacturing base in Italy. The company can now directly offer tailor-made solutions to the individual requirements of each single customer. Weiss began developing its own Silentium block manufacturing line with the purchase of the “Harmonic Vibration” patent. Two plants of this type for manufacturing kerbstones, paving blocks, blocks and selected heavy concrete elements were assembled ready-to-use by Weiss and then commissioned for Alcahyd, a company in Algeria.
