With 211,000 visitors, of which over 36,000 were from abroad, the BAU 2009 has set a new record and put a great deal of wind into the industry’s sails for the current year. According to the unanimous opinion of the exhibitors, there was little evidence of the financial and economic crisis in the trade fair halls: “Nobody is moaning, everybody is looking to the future.” Visitors from all over the world, including more than 36,000 international guests, came from 151 countries.
