More than nine months before the event, space at the 2009 South America Concrete Show is 70% sold out, and construction companies are seeing it as a major opportunity in the current situation of the world economy. The Concrete Show has consolidated its position as Latin America’s largest trade event in concrete technology. There will be 300 exhibitors in the 25,000m² of the Transamérica Expo Center – a space 25% larger than last year. "Brazilian and international entrepreneurs believe the Show will leverage their business and reduce the impact of the US’s economic difficulties. For us this financial crisis is an opportunity: demand from international companies for space at the Concrete Show has grown in recent weeks," says Claudia Godoy, a Director of Sienna Interlink, the company promoting and organizing the show. The dates of the 2009 South America Concrete Show are August 26–28, in São Paulo, Brazil.
