In May 2012 the company Prefamar recently installed a new production line for concrete blocks in Agadir, Morocco. The company’s objec- tive was to procure a new line to increase the production capacity of the group, which now has 4 factories in the country. Prefamar was look- ing for a supplier that would guarantee minimum maintenance costs for their equipment and also high quality final products without waste. They wanted to purchase a turnkey project for the whole factory: the same producer should supply all equipment, batching plant, curing sys- tem and molds. After a wide research in the European market, Prefamar chose the Portuguese company Ilmar, specialized in the develop- ment, production and commission of equipment for the production of concrete blocks.
