Zenith Maschinenfabrik GmbH is one of the world’s leading suppliers of equipment to the concrete block industry. With the most extensive range of products including mobile block machines, stationary and mobile multilayer machines, static board machines and complete circulation plants, the company is a market and technology leader in many sectors. Most manufacturers of concrete block making machines enjoyed full order books in the years 2007 and 2008. However, a slight fall in demand for the performance-orientated large board produc - tion machines was noticed as early as summer 2008. For that reason, Zenith decided at an early stage to fundamentally redesign some of the concrete block making machines in the lower price category, in particular the Zenith 940. The success of this decision wasn’t long in coming. More of the new Zenith 940 machines had already been sold, and for the most part also delivered and installed, in the first half of 2009.
