The fight against unfair competitionfrom the timber industry in Norway

Marketing of concrete technology started as a joint marketing organisation for both the masonry industry and the concrete industry in Norway in 2004. At the moment there are 73 companies that pay into the project with a yearly budget of € 650,000. The initial purpose was purely to promote the use of concrete and masonry in Norway through advertising, a home page with more than 200 good reference projects, lectures and excursions etc. This marketing project was initiated by advertising all the advantages of concrete and masonry. However, only very few noticed.
