Defects and deterioration of precast concrete panels to tall facades create significant risks and are difficult and expensive to remediate. Prevention requires a full understanding of the factors and causes related to design, construction and transportation, erection and finally exposure conditions. This paper provides a summary of the findings of condition studies and remediation of defects to precast concrete panels to tall building facades.
