The company Mosca was established in 1966 by mechanical engineer Gerd Mosca in Eberbach on the Neckar river, with a view to produce automatic tying machines, e.g. for postal deliveries, based on his own ideas. The success proved the company founder right. Only three years later, construction of a larger plant started at Zwingenberg.
