The large-scale project ‘Pumped storage power station Reiseck II’ – the extension to the Malta and Reisseck/Kreuzeck power station group in Upper Carinthia in Austria – is being realised by the consortium of power suppliers. The existing power plants will be extended and net- worked better with one another though the complex project. An important increase in output will be achieved as a result and possibilities to use existing resources better will be opened up.
