The slim-floor composite construction method is an alternative and at the same time economic alternative to conventional in-situ concrete flat slabs. Through the use of flush-with-the-floor steel composite beams with a (partly) precast slab, the advantages of steel construction or composite construction can be combined with the advantages of precast concrete construction with a very low overall height, but without punching shear problems.
