The “Mesh Mould” construction technology received the Swiss Technology Award 2016 in the “Inventors” category in November 2016 during the 11th Swiss Innovation Forum in Basel, Switzerland. The ceremony was witnessed by about 1,000 key figures from business, politics and society. This technology, developed by researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, enables load-bearing concrete components to be manufactured in any shape but without formwork.
